LOCAL COMMITTEE UPDATE

  • MMC Report

MMC or Minimum Memberships Criteria is a metric that AIESEC in Indonesia uses to award local committees for running and performing as intended by giving them the full membership status.

As of this term and active since April 2023-October 2023 AIESEC in BINUS has earned the full member status! This couldn’t have been accomplished without every single LC member both old and new working in harmony with each other, pushing forward this beautiful machine we call our lovely LC.

We are very proud of where we are and we hope to maintain this performance moving forward, and as our lovely LCP says “let’s not let our guard down since we have the next MMC to conquer!”. Good job LC! Keep your flame alive!

  • ECB Visit

An ECB visit was conducted on the 25th of March with Sha attending as the chair of the ECB team and Gabby as the network development specialist. The visit was conducted in the form of an audit, quizzing the management board and executive board members on the local compendiums and internal policies in which they operate under.

The visit was conducted in accordance with the LC’s new functional titled Outgoing Global Talent in which they will operate under the AIESEC exchange policy, a policy that is fresh for our LC. Overall the experience can only be recalled as very enthusiastic and lively.

Due to the LC’s hard work, AIESEC in BINUS managed to pass the ECB visit which meant that we would be continuing the ECB monthly audit and continue to operate our products. Furthermore, in the board’s own words they described the visit as “cooperative”, “synergized”, and “updated”.

  • Team Closing

As the curtain closes on the old term a fresh batch of AIESECers enter the scene. This quarter we celebrate the accomplishments and passing of the past term through Team Closing where AIESEC in BINUS alumni band together in a farewell activity for the last time. It was filled with both joy and sadness as goodbyes are never easy for anyone but more than anything it is filled with love.

The transition to a new term was a rocky path but one that had to be done. The passing of time further strengthens our LC, patching holes that once tripped us in the past. We are grateful for every AIESEC in BINUS alumni and we welcome all new members of our LC with open arms.

EPILOGUE

The entire AIESEC in BINUS LC wants to once again thank you, the readers of this newsletter for poring through our quarterly update. As our beloved LCP stated above, we are off to a strong start and we hope to keep this momentum going moving forward. We are very excited for what’s to come and share with you our insurmountable amount of accomplishments in the near future.
