War Between Technology and Human Resources

Technologies are a vital part to our modern society. With technologies, we could do a lot of things that we could not have done before. It made something that seems impossible to do possible with advanced technologies. In recent years, a lot of people are competing to create the perfect AI (Artificial Intelligence). AIs are designed to help people with their task. Being smart, accurate, effective and cost less than actually hiring the human counterparts, they are really designed to be the perfect assistant. It was one of the marvels of technology before people started to realize that they are creating something that could replace human resources.

So are we ever going to be replaced with technologies? It seems not. While it is true that technologies advancements made people to start to replace human resources with machinery and artificial intelligence. It is still not possible to entirely replace human resources, in matter of fact, the creation of AI actually creates countless of new job. Keep in mind that AIs are still in a development stage and can not be relied on to do a task without human supervision. A few weeks ago, I read a news article about Japan’s famous robot hotel firing half of its robot employees because of the trouble that the robots are giving to the owner with a little in return. This alone made me believe that a decent, hard working humans are still the best option for now.

In the end, AIs are still not able to replace us just yet. They are very new to us and may need a little bit more time before they can finally replace most of us or maybe all of us.
