Designed to bridge academic learning with industry exposure, the visit allowed participants to explore various aspects of business operations, including corporate history, brand development, leadership, and workplace culture. Through direct interaction with company representatives, participants were able to gain a deeper understanding of how a large organization continues to grow and remain relevant in a highly competitive market.

The journey began from BINUS Anggrek Campus, where participants traveled together to the OT headquarter. Upon arriving at the location, they were immediately welcomed by a unique symbol of the company’s history displayed near the entrance. A blue vehicle bearing the OT logo, which was used during the company’s early years to support its business operations, stood as a reminder of the company’s entrepreneurial beginnings. Participants were particularly interested to learn that the vehicle is still regularly maintained and even routinely operated despite now serving as a display piece. This commitment to preserving a part of the company’s history reflects OT’s appreciation for its roots and the journey that has shaped the organization into what it is today.

The visit continued with a presentation session held in a dedicated room focusing on Formula, one of OT’s most well-known brands. The presentation also highlighted various Formula products, including seasonal offerings that are specifically developed to meet market demands during certain periods of the year. The session was highly interactive, with participants enthusiastically answering questions, engaging in discussions, and showing curiosity about the products and strategies presented. This active participation created an engaging learning environment and demonstrated the participants’ strong interest in understanding the business behind a successful consumer brand. Beyond discussing products and business growth, the speakers also shared valuable insights on leadership and team management. Participants learned about the important role leaders play in guiding and developing their teams. The discussion emphasized that effective leadership is notsolely about achieving organizational targets, but also about creating an environment where team members can grow, learn, and maximize their potential. By supporting employee development and fostering collaboration, leaders can help build stronger and more productive teams. These lessons provided participants with practical perspectives on leadership that can be applied not only in future professional settings but also within student organizations and group projects.

Following the presentation session, participants were invited to join a company tour around the facility. During the tour, they had the opportunity to observe various amenities provided by OT to support employee well-being and create a positive workplace environment. Among the facilities showcased were a gym, sauna, soaking area, and several other recreational spaces designed to promote employee comfort and work-life balance. The event then concluded with the participants returning to BINUS Anggrek Campus after a day filled with learning, exploration, and meaningful discussions.
