Beyond Kemanggisan, the 2026 HIMTI Expo also made its way to BINUS @Senayan , the international campus that is home to students from a wide range of backgrounds, both Indonesian and international. The atmosphere at the HIMTI booth in Senayan felt distinct in its own way, as this was where a true blend of cultures came together under one roof.<\/span>From the moment the booth opened, the enthusiasm of B30 freshmen at BINUS @Senayan was unmistakable. Many came out of genuine curiosity , local students eager to learn about campus organization life, and international students encountering Indonesia’s student organization ecosystem for the very first time. This became a valuable opportunity for HIMTI to introduce itself as a big family open to everyone, regardless of background or nationality.<\/span><\/p>\n

Interactions at the HIMTI Senayan booth were warm and full of familiarity. HIMTI’s committee members were quick to explain what HIMTI is, its role for School of Computer Science students, and its flagship programs, including TECHNO 2026: NOVA, the Welcoming Party that brings together SoCS students from various BINUS campuses in one shared moment. For international students, the idea of a cross campus event like this stood out as something fresh, offering a chance to connect with fellow BINUS students beyond their own campus community.<\/span><\/p>\n

What made the moment even more memorable was how language and culture never stood in the way of getting to know one another. Conversations at the booth flowed naturally in both Indonesian and English, shifting with whoever stopped by. HIMTI’s spirit of kinship proved to be truly universal, reflected in the equally strong enthusiasm from both local and international students eager to learn more about HIMTI as a second home within campus life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Behind the scenes, the success of the Senayan leg of the Expo did not happen by chance. Weeks of coordination between the HIMTI committee and the Senayan campus team went into making sure the booth’s cyberpunk themed decorations, the Otty mascot appearances, and the flow of information about TECHNO 2026 could all translate smoothly to an international audience, while still keeping the same warmth and energy that defined the Expo across other regions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the Expo at BINUS @Senayan, HIMTI proved that its spirit of togetherness and collaboration knows no boundaries, not of campus, language, or nationality. The presence of both international and national students at the same booth stood as a clear reflection of how HIMTI wants to be known: an inclusive, warm organization ready to embrace every SoCS student, wherever they may be.<\/span><\/p>\n
