On November 7 \u2013 8 2025, HIMTI Senayan held a memorable bonding session themed \u201cThe Longest Ride\u201d at Tamaria III. Designed as an experience that participants would carry with them for years, the event brought together students not only from Computer Science but from various programs across the School of Computer Science. Students from Binusian 2027, 2028, and 2029 joined the activity, making the event a unique gathering that blended perspectives across three generations of BINUS students.<\/span><\/p>\n

The atmosphere grew warm right from the start as participants joined an intimate sharing session. This moment became a space where everyone could speak openly about their experiences and backgrounds. The presence of international students, especially those from Africa and Cambodia added meaningful depth to the discussion. Listening to stories about life, culture, and challenges in different countries allowed everyone to appreciate diversity and gain insights far beyond the classroom environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

The bonding continued with a series of fun and energetic activities, including cooking together, karaoke, and billiard sessions. Preparing meals as a group created a lively and collaborative atmosphere, while karaoke brought laughter and excitement as participants sang their hearts out. The billiard sessions added a competitive but friendly touch, strengthening teamwork and sparking new friendships. These activities created a relaxed environment where everyone could genuinely connect and enjoy one another\u2019s company.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the second day, the group embarked on a meaningful hiking session, which became the symbolic heart of \u201cThe Longest Ride.\u201d During the hike, participants also met and interacted with local kids from the surrounding area, creating a wholesome and memorable moment that added warmth to the experience. Walking together, exchanging smiles, and taking pictures with the kids made the journey feel even more alive. The fresh air, shared stories, and mutual encouragement along the trail turned this hike into a thoughtful and sentimental experience that reflected the long road each student is on, filled with challenges, support, laughter, and growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

More than just an ordinary gathering, this bonding session succeeded in strengthening unity among students from different backgrounds, programs, and batches. New friendships were formed, old connections grew stronger, and participants left with memories they will cherish.
