I hope we don\u2019t make you wait for far too long. Also, how\u2019s everybody doing right now? I hope you\u2019re all happy and healthy just like us. Don\u2019t let this article distract you from the fact that the PPKM in the country has gone down to level 1 which obviously is a good thing, and soon we\u2019ll be able to inhale the fresh air without worrying about those stupid virus. Anyway, in this article, we\u2019ll be talking about Indonesian original foods because we have something in mind that we are eager to tell our readers! Fun fact, one of these foods is our favorite, and I\u2019m sure you\u2019ll know which one. Let\u2019s just get to the first one, shall we?<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li style=\"text-align: center\">Pempek<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1644\" src=\"http:\/\/student-activity.binus.ac.id\/himsi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2021\/11\/pepek.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" \/><em>Photo taken from http:\/\/blog.duniamasak.com\/icha-irawan-pempek-kapal-selam\/<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The first one falls to pempek, a typical Indonesian food originated from Palembang, South Sumatra. Pempek are made of fish batter, finely ground with tapioca flour to add the elasticity and shape the texture. There are various kinds of pempek such as<em> kapal selam<\/em>, <em>kulit<\/em>, <em>lenjer <\/em>etc. Our favorite of them all is pempek <em>kapal selam<\/em>, because it\u2019s huge, and the amount of egg that they put in it is beyond expectations!<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify\" start=\"2\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Bakso<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/student-activity.binus.ac.id\/himsi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2021\/11\/nakso.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1643\" src=\"http:\/\/student-activity.binus.ac.id\/himsi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2021\/11\/nakso.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>Photo taken from https:\/\/www.idntimes.com<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Another fun fact you guys should know, bakso can be found in many variants. Basically, bakso (or known as meatball in English speaking countries) is ground beef mixed with flour and seasoning, and boiled until the right amount of time. You can use your own imagination to make different shapes with the batter. At the end, the meatball will be served with a bowl filled with hot broth to lighten up the taste.<\/li>\n<li>Soto<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1646\" src=\"http:\/\/student-activity.binus.ac.id\/himsi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2021\/11\/soto.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"541\" height=\"270\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Photo taken from https:\/\/images.app.goo.gl\/XDGwaxS1qb4a8auz5<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">An authentic Indonesian cuisine, soto is a soup made with chicken broth (or any other meat) and vegetables. The most common meat to use are chicken and beef, but there are other types of meat depending on which region they were made of. Various regions of Indonesia have their own special soto recipes such as soto <em>lamongan, <\/em>soto <em>betawi,<\/em> and many more.<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify\" start=\"4\">\n<li>Sate<a href=\"http:\/\/student-activity.binus.ac.id\/himsi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2021\/11\/sate.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1645\" src=\"http:\/\/student-activity.binus.ac.id\/himsi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2021\/11\/sate.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"817\" height=\"817\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Photo taken from https:\/\/images.app.goo.gl\/GtvetA5hmHAgtT3R9<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Sate or <em>satay <\/em>in English, is a popular Indonesian street food with many variations spread throughout the country\u2019s regions. Historians believe that the earliest formula of satay originated from Javanese cuisine, then spread to almost everywhere in the country. Indonesian satay is usually served with <em>kecap manis<\/em> or a sweet soy sauce with a combination of a <em>lontong<\/em> (a type of rice cake) as the side dish. The meat varies from chicken, beef, rabbit, fish, and many others.<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify\" start=\"5\">\n<li>Indomie<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1642\" src=\"http:\/\/student-activity.binus.ac.id\/himsi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2021\/11\/domie.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"393\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <em>\u00a0Photo taken from https:\/\/cdn-2.tstatic.net\/tribunnews\/foto\/bank\/images\/indomie-kpop-6.jpg<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Last but not least, our favorite food of all time, created by the angel, and delivered to satisfy mankind. We\u2019re saying that you are NOT a human if you have not eaten Indomie before, and not claiming Indomie as the best food ever! Not only in Indonesia, Indomie has also become the most favorite instant noodle for people who live in several countries, such as the United States, Australia, Africa and European countries. In Africa and the Middle East, like Sudan and Lebanon, Indomie is always available in every retail and supermarket store.
