HIMME Social Responsibility 2025: \u201cMending What We Hold in Common Strengthening Our Collective Future\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

HIMME Social Responsibility (HSR) is one of HIMME BINUS\u2019s events that aims to show HIMME’s commitment to social contribution and environmental care. HSR 2025 was successfully held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Wisma Karya Bakti Orphanage, Depok.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0With the theme \u00a0\u201cMending What We Hold in Common, Strengthening Our Collective Future\u201d and the tagline \u201cWe Mend What We Share\u201d, this year’s HSR aims to foster a sense of shared responsibility and awareness of environmental care through interactive and educational activities. This event invites BINUSIAN students from BINUS Business School to participate in social responsibility initiatives that strengthen the relationship between the student community and orphanages, while also contributing to environmental care. This activity helps BINUSIAN students from BBS show their concern for the community.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0HSR 2025 featured a series of meaningful activities, including workshops on cambium plants, tree planting, and cleanup activities around the orphanage. Participants were divided into several groups with assigned group leaders to manage the activities until they were completed on time. The event began with an opening ceremony, followed by a presentation on cambium plants in collaboration with Depok Berkebun, who guided the workshop and planting session. Participants learned about plant theory and practical planting techniques. After the workshop, participants worked together to plant trees with the children from the orphanage. The tree planting activity is expected to have a long-term positive impact on the environment and the orphanage community. In addition, it also aims to raise environmental awareness among participants and inspire children to participate in caring for the environment in a sustainable manner.<\/p>\n

After both activities were completed, the next session was a break, during which participants ate together with the children at the orphanage while chatting casually.\u00a0 After the break was over, the event continued with a community service session. Participants were divided into groups, and each group was assigned to pick up trash, cut grass, and sweep the yard around the orphanage. After the community service session was over, the committee provided daily necessities for the orphanage, including rice, eggs, sugar, soy sauce, tea, and others. The event closed with a group photo session with the children of the Wisma Karya Bakti orphanage.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0At its heart, HSR 2025 successfully embodied the spirit of social responsibility and environmental awareness. HSR 2025 was not just an event, but also a reminder of the power of empathy, collaboration, and purpose-driven action. Through every activity, from planting trees to sharing moments with children, participants were reminded that small acts of kindness can create lasting change. This event not only strengthens the bond between BINUSIAN students and the community but also inspires all parties involved to continue contributing meaningfully toward a more compassionate and sustainable future.<\/p>\n
