DSC X HACTIV8 : Kuasai AI bersama Student Development Initiative

“Kuasai AI bersama Student Development Initiative” event, a collaborative effort between Hacktiv8 and the Data Science Club of Binus University, was successfully held on May 23, 2025, at Room 704, 7th Floor, Binus Anggrek Campus. This initiative aimed to provide university students with hands-on exposure to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its real-world applications across various industries. The one-day workshop offered a comprehensive learning experience tailored for beginners who are eager to enter the field of AI and data science.

Throughout the session, participants explored a variety of essential topics including an introduction to Machine Learning, how predictive models work in real-world scenarios, and a hands-on demonstration of building simple models using Python. The workshop emphasized practical implementation rather than theoretical knowledge alone, enabling participants to understand not only the “how” but also the “why” behind AI techniques.

The session was led by Aldo Lionel, a seasoned Data Scientist with over five years of experience in Machine Learning and Data Analytics.
