Basic Design Training Program 2026 (BDTP\u201926) \u201c<\/span>Beyond the Canvas, Expand Your Creativity<\/span><\/i>\u201d is a work program initiated by the Human Resources Development Subdivision under the Internal Affairs Division of BSSC 16th Presidency. This training program aims to enhance the fundamental design skills of BSSC activists by equipping them with essential knowledge of visual principles, design consistency, and organizational design standards. Through this program, participants were expected to improve their ability to create visually appealing and professional design outputs aligned with BSSC\u2019s branding guidelines. BDTP\u201926 was conducted on Wednesday,\u00a0 May 13th, 2026 at Oak Room, BINUS Square, and was attended by BSSC 16th presidency activists who were eager to develop their creativity competencies and contribute more effectively to the organization\u2019s visual communication needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Basic Design Training Program began with warming speeches from Irena Nur Diani as the PIC of Basic Design Training Program 2026, Yonggara Halim Senata as the Chairman of BSSC 16th Presidency, and Muhammad Raziva Ramza Aziz as the Student Organizator Advisor of BINUS Square Student Committee. The event was hosted by Maria Vania Datu Sadina as the Master of Ceremony, who guided participants throughout the training sessions. The program continued with interactive learning sessions focused on the fundamentals of design, including design principles, visual hierarchy, color theory, and creative thinking. Guided by experienced trainers, participants were encouraged to develop their creativity and improve their basic design skills through discussions and practical activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

The main session began with the speakers, Angelina Patricia Halim and Sanny Carolius, officially introducing themselves to the participants before presenting the prepared materials in detail. During this session, both speakers explained the topics comprehensively, shared their insights and experiences, and interacted actively with the audience. In addition, they conducted a Q&A session, allowing participants to ask questions, express their opinions, and gain a deeper understanding of the material discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The second session was delivered by Christabel Suwarly, she introduced herself to the participants before presenting the material. Similar to the previous session, the presentation was conducted interactively, encouraging active participation and discussion among the audience. At the end of the session, a Q&A session was held to provide participants with the opportunity to ask further questions and deepen their understanding of the topic discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n

A practice session was conducted where participants were divided into seven groups, with each group consisting of two members. Each group gathered with their teammates and created a poster with the theme \u201c<\/span>Gathering Movie Night with Special Guest: Chairman 16th Presidency<\/span><\/i>\u201d. The participants worked on their designs for forty-five minutes with their respective groups. During the working session, the atmosphere was calm yet intense as participants focused on completing their posters. Background music was played throughout the session, creating a more engaging and comfortable environment. After completing the task, they submitted their work through the QR code provided by the committee.<\/span><\/p>\n

An<\/span> evaluation session was conducted where Angelina Patricia Halim, Christabel Suwarly, and Sanny Carolius came to the front to review each group\u2019s work. The participants also came forward with their respective groups while the design results were displayed. During this session, they provided comments, feedback, and corrections by explaining which aspects of the designs were appropriate and which areas could still be improved.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event proceeded with the winner announcement session. Afterward, the Master of Ceremony came forward to officially announce the winners of each category. In addition to announcing the results, the Person In Charge (PIC), Irena Nur Diani, presented certificates and additional prizes in the form of snacks as an appreciation for the participant\u2019s hard work. The winners were divided into three award categories: Most Precise Award, Best Visual Award, and Best Delivery award. The <\/span>Most Precise Award<\/b> won by group 1, namely Marsya Growijaya and Verleen Velisia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, the <\/span>Best Visuals Award <\/b>winner category was won by group 3, namely Beatrice Hanna Gunawan and Grissella Evelyn Yu.<\/span><\/p>\n

And finally, the <\/span>Best Delivery Award<\/b> category was won by group 2, namely Angwen Cahyono and Elxinvy Caitlyn Gunawan.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, certificates were awarded to the speaker as an expression of appreciation for their contribution to the program.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event concluded with a group photo session, after the participants completed their evaluation form. This Basic Design Training Program 2026 was organized to help BINUS Square Student Committee (BSSC) activists develop and improve their fundamental design skills, creativity, and visual communication abilities. Through this program, participants were expected to gain a better understanding of basic design principles, such as layout, color composition, typography, and visual hierarchy. So they could create more attractive, effective, and professional design works for various organizational and promotional purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n
