More than just an annual event, this gathering was designed as a moment for everyone to pause, recharge, and reconnect after going through midterms and their organizational responsibilities. Carrying the theme “A Journey Back to You,” the event focused on creating space for genuine interaction and reflection among participants. It became an opportunity not only to strengthen relationships, but also to enjoy time together outside the usual structure of daily activities.

The event began at BINUS Square Lounge with an opening session led by the MC, Stephanie Alexandria Murtopo, who greeted all participants and guided the opening prayer. Silfiya Amanda Putri, as the Project Manager of BSSC Gathering 2026, then delivered her remarks, followed by a speech from Yonggara Halim Senata as the Chairman of BSSC 16th Presidency. After the opening session, participants were directed to the buses and began their journey to TMII. During the trip, the committee used the time to brief participants on the day’s agenda and assign them into groups, each consisting of six activists and two committee members.

Source:https://docs.google.com/document/d/1D7q5cnwnh8jL2Mai_BpmUPvmOzwxv03Ey4-R2fNlgGw/edit?usp=sharing

Upon arriving at TMII, all participants gathered for a group documentation session before continuing their journey using the angling, a complimentary shuttle provided within the TMII area, to reach the Community Center, where most of the structured activities were held. At the venue, participants were welcomed by Muhammad Raziva Ramza Aziz as the Student Organization Advisor (SOA) of BSSC, officially marking the start of the day’s program. The first activity was an icebreaking session titled “One Word, One Story.” Participants played in their respective groups, taking turns to contribute one word at a time to build a continuous story together. The goal was to keep the story flowing in a way that still made sense, often resulting in unexpected and amusing outcomes. The activity created a light and engaging atmosphere, helping participants ease into their groups and interact more comfortably with one another. Following the icebreaking session, each group was given 25 minutes to prepare a group cheer complete with a simple choreography. Every group was then given the chance to perform in front of all participants, with one minute allocated for each performance. The session was filled with energy and enthusiasm, as each group showcased their creativity and teamwork. This activity helped participants become more comfortable with one another and strengthened the group dynamic early in the day.

Source:https://docs.google.com/document/d/1D7q5cnwnh8jL2Mai_BpmUPvmOzwxv03Ey4-R2fNlgGw/edit?usp=sharing

The first game, Time Bomb Puzzle, challenged participants to complete a puzzle under unique conditions. Each group was assigned their own set of puzzle pieces, but all sets were mixed together, requiring participants to search for the pieces that belonged to their group while competing against others. At the start, only one representative from each group was allowed to play, with one additional member joining every minute. This mechanic made the game progressively more intense, as full team coordination was only possible toward the end. The competitive atmosphere was evident throughout, with some participants even attempting to hold onto other groups’ pieces, and Group 4 ultimately secured the win. The second game, Jeopardy, tested participants’ knowledge through a 5×5 question board consisting of various categories and point values. Each group took turns selecting questions, aiming to accumulate the highest possible score by answering correctly. Without access to their phones, participants relied entirely on their own knowledge and teamwork. The round became more increasingly competitive as scores tightened, but Group 2 managed to lead and finished with the highest total points.

Source : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hGCxPoIemSBtyVImV0qRU5HPZFObZXgz/view?usp=sharing

After completing the game sessions, all participants and committee members were given a one-hour break for ISHOMA, which included time to rest, pray, and have lunch at the Community Center. The afternoon then continued with a free time session, where each group explored the TMII area at their own pace. This session was designed to be more relaxed, allowing participants to enjoy the environment and spend quality time with their group members outside of structured activities. It also gave them the chance to interact more naturally and build connections beyond their assigned roles. To add a sense of direction during the exploration, participants were given a Bingo Blast challenge card, which contained a grid of various challenges instead of numbers. While the activity was optional and not strictly competitive, it provided a fun framework for groups who wanted an additional goal during their free time. Some groups chose to focus on completing the challenges, while others preferred to simply enjoy the surroundings and conversations. Among all groups, Group 2 successfully completed the most challenges and achieved a full bingo.

Following the free time session, all participants and committee members reconvened at the Contemporary Art Gallery for the final activity titled “Pieces of Us.” This session served as a reflective moment where participants were invited to write down their impressions and messages from the day’s event. It allowed everyone to look back on their experiences, interactions, and the connections they had formed throughout the gathering. The activity created a more personal closing, giving space for reflections before the event officially came to an end. Afterward, all participants returned to the buses and headed back to BINUS Square together. The atmosphere on the way back was noticeably calmer, reflecting a sense of fulfillment after a full day of activities. Throughout the gathering, participants were placed in groups with members from different divisions, encouraging them to step outside their usual circles and connect with new people. From structured games to unstructured exploration, the event created a balance between engagement and relaxation. Overall, BSSC Gathering 16th Presidency provided a meaningful experience that brought the community close in a way that felt both genuine and refreshing.

Source : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1z6wzmrTrEsxIInimdhxdEnXN6Cfc6w8b/view?usp=sharing BSSC Gathering 16th Presidency was held on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), bringing together activists and committee members of BINUS Square Student Committee (BSSC) for a full day of shared experiences.
