BSSC WONDER 2021 is an event held by BINUS Square Student Committee (BSSC). WONDER itself is an abbreviation of \u201cWelcoming New Boarder” and this event is held to welcome new boarders, introduce them to BINUS Square, and help them to get to know each other. Each year, BSSC WONDER raises different themes. This year\u2019s theme is \u201cOdyssey, Long Adventurous Journey\u201d. This theme is about the adventures of Pirates in solving clues and completing missions to reach a treasure island. We called new boarders as \u201cPirates\u201d, Team Leader as \u201cCaptain\u201d and MC as \u201cSailing Master\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

This event was successfully held on Sunday, September 5<\/span>th<\/span>, 2021, from 09.30 WIB until 15.50 WIB with more than 60 participants. The event began with the tagline \u201cAye Aye Captain!\u201d and an opening speech from our Project Manager, Janette Agatha. Then, it continued with the introduction of each group with a unique and creative tagline. Before proceed to the main event, an ice-breaking \u201cHear to Riposte\u201d was carried out first to make participants more excited and motivated. There were also presentations from communities based on BINUS Square, such as Fast Response Community (FARCO), Floor Coordinator (FC), Academic Ambassador (AA), Mentor BINUS Square, and BINUS Square Student Committee (BSSC). As a result, the participants enthusiastically followed the game and answered the quizzes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the main event, the participants were divided into breakout rooms in groups. They played exciting games, such as Landlubber Glows Up!, Treasure Hunt!, Eagle Eye, Land Ho!, and Ship Cemetery. They competed excitedly with other groups to get a clue for the treasure island. After they came back to the main room, they shared their experiences when playing the games. They said the game was interesting and it definitely strengthened their bond. After that, the presenters announced the winning team and door prize winners. There were a total of three door prize winners, each of them got an Rp50,000 e-wallet prize. This event was closed with documentation and the tagline mentioned by all participants for the last time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overall, the participants were very enthusiastic about participating in this event. It can be seen from all the comments and questions that filled the comment section. They also actively took part in all of the games and participated in their group discussion. We hope this BSSC WONDER could help new boarders to build a friendship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
