BNEC recently launched a career development workshop titled \u201c<\/span>College to Career: Nail the Transition & the Interview\u201d <\/b>at<\/span> the Exhibition Hall, BINUS Anggrek, 3rd floor. This event, which was curated by Virgie Queena Shallomitha as the Project Officer, and Moreno Maeza Syafa Harahap as the Vice Project Officer, as well as other BNEC staffs, featured Meity Margareta, an HR & Learning Professional, Career Coach, and Mentor from ADPList, who shared valuable insights to help BINUSIANs succeed in job interviews and smoothly adapt to professional life after college.<\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to help BINUSIANs develop both technical and interpersonal skills needed to stand out in the competitive job market. The event was open to the public with free admissions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The session began with an introduction of the speaker by the MC. To liven up the atmosphere before the main session, an engaging ice-breaking<\/span> activity<\/span> using<\/span> Mentimeter was conducted, allowing participants to interact and share their thoughts on career expectations and interview experiences.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the main presentation, Ms. Meity discussed the key aspects of self presentation, communication skills, and interview presentation. She emphasized the importance of understanding personal values and aligning them with the company\u2019s culture to make a strong first impression.<\/span><\/p>\n

Afterwards, the workshop continued with an interactive Q&A session, where eager BINUSIANs ask questions about interview tips, professional behavior, and how to handle difficult interview scenarios.<\/span><\/p>\n

The highlight of the workshop was the interview simulation where 3 selected participants had the opportunity to experience a real interview scenario with Ms. Meity as the interviewer. She also provided feedback for each participant, offering personal advice on how to improve their delivery, confidence, and overall presentation.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of the event, a plaque was presented to Ms. Meity as a token of appreciation for her insightful material and contributions. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and gratitude as participants applauded Ms. Meity and the organizing committees for successfully holding such an insightful workshop.<\/span><\/p>\n
