Every mid-year, senior high school students across Indonesia reach an important milestone when they graduate, marking the start of a new chapter filled with excitement, challenges, and dreams. For many, higher education is the next step, a place to explore interests, develop skills, and form connections. BINUS University welcomes thousands of first-year students each year, guiding them as they begin their journey toward personal and academic growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

From August 18 to August 27, 2025, these students joined the <\/span>NEXT Program<\/b>, a special series of activities to welcome freshmen and help them get familiar with university life. But this is not your typical orientation. Instead of just lectures or introductions, NEXT is all about <\/span>fun, exploration, and connection<\/b>. Student organizations across BINUS set up their own booths and activities, transforming the campus into a lively expo. Each booth isn\u2019t just there for show, it\u2019s a chance for freshmen to play games, join mini-activities, and directly chat with seniors who share their experiences. It\u2019s the perfect place to explore new communities, find organizations that match their passions, and even try things they\u2019ve never considered before.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among all the organizations, <\/span>BNEC<\/b> stands out with its <\/span>New Member Recruitment (NMR) activities<\/b>. To make the expo memorable, BNEC prepares everything from eye-catching booth decorations, engaging promotional campaigns, up to exciting performances like speeches and interactive sessions. Committees are always on standby at the booth, ready to welcome freshmen with energy and smiles. The best part? Freshmen don\u2019t just listen but they get to join in the fun. From chatting with BNEC members, joining casual Q&A, to playing interactive games like the <\/span>spin wheel<\/b> (where cool prizes are up for grabs), every activity is designed to break the ice and make the introduction more exciting.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2025, BNEC carries the theme <\/span>\u201cBe Loud, Be Proud, Be Extraordinary\u201d<\/b> for its recruitment series. The message is clear: university life is the best time to step out of your comfort zone, be confident in who you are, and dare to shine. Many students may feel ordinary or unsure at first, but through BNEC\u2019s community, they\u2019re reminded that everyone has unique potential waiting to be discovered. <\/span>Be Loud<\/b> means having the courage to share your ideas and be yourself. <\/span>Be Proud<\/b> is about celebrating every little step and achievement. <\/span>Be Extraordinary<\/b> motivates students to keep learning, growing, and becoming their best selves.<\/span><\/p>\n

This theme is more than just a tagline, it reflects how BNEC wants to build a supportive and inspiring community. Through the NEXT Program and NMR, BNEC gives freshmen not just an introduction to the organization, but also an opportunity to start their own journey of self-discovery, collaboration, and growth.
