The debate format of IWGM 2025 is the Asian Parliamentary debate format, and the debate is in English. IWGM 2025 is not just a competition but also a platform for participants to enrich their perspectives, challenge stereotypes, and strengthen solidarity within their communities. The competition of IWGM 2025 took place online via Zoom from\u00a0 May 3 to 4, 2025.\u00a0 BINUS Debate Team with their flammable spirit has once again achieved noticeable performance at the IWGM 2025, proving a worthy recognition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After the amazing performance at the Gadjah Mada Eloquentia 2025, the BINUS Debate Team has always been noticeable throughout competitions, including this IWGM 2025. The teams representing BINUS University are BINUS Gurlies (Joseline Fransiska Wijaya, Klarissa, and Beyounce Lorraine A. Guingab) and Chiikawa (Regina Stephania Wuisana and Jennifer Marcellyn Cen).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During this very special competition, BINUS Gurlies and Chiikawa performed a remarkable performance and eventually achieved very impressive results. The BINUS Gurlies team has even secured the Reserve Novice Breaking Team award.\u00a0 Moreover, the individuals inside the team have also achieved notable awards, such as Joseline Fransiska Wijaya, who achieved the 3rd Best Novice Speaker, and Beyounce Lorraine A. Guingab, who achieved the 1st Best Novice Speaker.\u00a0 Furthermore, from the Chiikawa team, Regina Stephanie Wuisana comes out as the 10th Overall Best Speaker, and Jennifer Marcellyn Cen comes out as the 5th Overall Best Speaker. These awards proved that BINUS University students showed a significant quality of performance in the competition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">BINUS University&#8217;s reputation in debating competitions rises further with yet another great performance. The team&#8217;s performance at the IWGM 2025 reflects the effort and toughness that represent all BINUS University debaters.
