We present to you one of our three biggest events in BINUS English Club (BNEC). Social Event is an annual event held every year consisting of various activities with the intention of contributing to society. We want to encourage and raise people’s awareness to actively participate in tackling social issues.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

In 2024, BINUS English Club (BNEC) Social Event carries the theme <\/span>\u201cEnd to Mend Lives\u201d <\/span><\/i>with the belief that eliminating poverty is a crucial step in healing and renewing our communities. Poverty is not only a barrier to realizing human potential but also a wound to heal. This Event aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 1 (No Poverty) aims to eradicate poverty by solving malnutrition, empowering society, and increasing access to education.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2024 BNEC Social Event presents a series of events consisting of comparative study, event workshop <\/span>\u201cGood Meal, Good Feel\u201d<\/span><\/i>, and education <\/span>\u201dVolunteer English Teaching\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Comparative Study<\/b><\/p>\n

As a part of the 2024 BNEC Social Event, a comparative study was conducted under the theme \u201cBreaking the Cycle: Combating Poverty for a Better Generation\u201d to discuss and analyze various approaches to tackling social issues, particularly in improving and enhancing people\u2019s quality of life. This activity involved collaboration with NGOs relevant to this year\u2019s theme that took place on Saturday, December 14th, 2024, from 10.00am to 12.00pm WIB.<\/span><\/p>\n

Workshop<\/b><\/p>\n

The workshop held the theme of \u201cGood Meal, Good Feel\u201d. Held in Paud Sari Mutiara <\/span>Education on 17 December 2024 talking about balanced nutrition from. Starting with a presentation from the speaker Ms Dewi Sophia and then continued by practice on choosing balanced dishes. Where the participants are given a plate and need to feel the plate with dishes that provide enough nutrition to the body. <\/span><\/p>\n

Education<\/b><\/p>\n

This Project was held to increase access to education for society by teaching English Language to Early Childhood Education Teachers. Improving the Teachers teaching quality and proficiency in English language. The Education lasts for 5 weeks at BINUS @Kemanggisan Anggrek Campus every Friday from 7th February 2025 and then 14th February, 21st February, 28th February, and 7th March 2025. From 13:20 to 15:00 a total of 100 Minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
