Elden Ring has been considered to be one of the greatest games there ever was, with multiple awards to back up this claim. Recently, FromSoftware Inc., the creator of Elden Ring, has released a new downloadable content (DLC) for this game called \u201cShadow of the Erdtree\u201d, and let me tell you gamers out there, it’s worth dying for. Why, and for what reasons? Let’s find out!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Unlike other video games\u2019 DLCs, which usually just gives you a couple of weapon skins or a new unlockable character, \u201cShadow of the Erdtree\u201d is different. This DLC unlocks a massive amount of items, spells, consumables, and many more, that in return, unlocks many different types of builds that are previously overshadowed by a stronger build. For example the \u201cThorn Sorcerer\u201d build that has become really viable because of the \u201cImpenetrable Thorn\u201d spell that the DLC provided.<\/span><\/p>\n

Have you been feeling that the bosses in the \u201cLands Between\u201d are starting to feel a little dull and easy? Well, this DLC introduces you to many unique bosses with top-of-the-line designs, ranging from demigods, monsters, dragons, and many more, that will make even the most experienced player struggle.<\/span><\/p>\n

Exploration<\/b><\/p>\n

As if exploring the vast locations and dungeons in the \u201cLands Between\u201d were not enough, the DLC allows you to explore a place called the \u201cLand of Shadow\u201d where there are many beautiful places like the Cerulean Coast. Or, if you\u2019re a daring person, explore the vertical dungeon of the \u201cShadow Keep\u201d. The choice is ultimately yours.<\/span><\/p>\n

The original game of Elden Ring leaves many questions unanswered, such as who is Melina? Why does Radahn and Malenia Fight? Who injured the dragon lord Placidusax? and many more. All of these questions are explained in the DLC through various NPC dialogues, item descriptions, and even spell descriptions. So if you want your answers, now\u2019s the time to delve deep into the \u201cLand of Shadow\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

The amount of content that you are getting from this DLC, combined with its unique bosses and vast places that you can explore, makes this DLC into a game of its own. It\u2019s almost as if this is a sequel to the original game that explains every question that is asked before.
