Over the past four months, BINUS debaters have not only competed but excelled in various prestigious national competitions, including ALSA UI, NUDC, E-Sanctuary, and Open Lounge 2024. However, this victory at DTU Monsoons 2024 stands as a testament to BINUS University\u2019s growing influence on the international stage, setting the stage for the upcoming Asian British Parliamentary (ABP) Championships in October.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The DTU Monsoons 2024, held virtually via Zoom and Discord on August 17\u201318, was a fierce battleground, filled with some of the most challenging competitors from around the world. Despite the stiff competition, BINUS University sent forth two formidable teams\u2014BINUS A and BINUS B, each comprising two skilled speakers and supported by an independent judge.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Meet the Champions<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Team BINUS A: Muhammad Batara Mulya &amp; Jennifer Marcellyn Cen<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Team BINUS B: Bobby Ongkojoyo &amp; Rachel Chen<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Independent Judge: Regina Stephanie Wuisana<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Across two intense days, these individuals represented BINUS University with determination, resilience, and exceptional debate skills, fighting for the honor and glory of their university.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After a grueling series of debates, <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">BINUS A <\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">emerged triumphant, securing the 5<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> place, while <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">BINUS B<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> earned a commendable 7<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> place in the Open Breaking Teams category.
