In an exciting initiative to strengthen the leadership skills of our members, BNEC recently conducted a follow-up Cadre Forming for its activists. This program, held over two days on July 24<\/span>\u2013<\/span>25, 2024, via Zoom, was a vital component of BNEC’s ongoing commitment to nurturing future leaders within the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Cadre Forming program, a cornerstone of BNEC’s Leadership Development initiatives, is designed to equip the New Board of Management with the necessary skills and knowledge for effective leadership. This follow-up session was specifically targeted at activists who had not participated in the initial training, ensuring that all members have the opportunity to develop their leadership potential.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Follow-up Cadre Forming marks a significant step in BNEC’s ongoing efforts to cultivate a robust and capable leadership team. As these newly trained activists step into their roles, they bring with them a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper understanding of what it means to lead within a vibrant and dynamic organization like BNEC.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 1: Building the Foundation<\/b><\/p>\n

The first day focused on core aspects of BNEC’s operations and leadership principles, setting a strong foundation for the participants:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. BNEC Culture & Self-Discipline:<\/b> Participants were introduced to the core values and culture of BNEC, emphasizing the importance of self-discipline in personal and organizational growth.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Leadership:<\/b> This session explored different leadership styles, encouraging participants to reflect on their strengths and areas for improvement. Practical scenarios helped illustrate the challenges and responsibilities of leadership within BNEC.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Administration & Operation:<\/b> This segment provided insights into the administrative and operational frameworks of BNEC, covering essential skills like documentation, communication, and resource management.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Finance:<\/b> Participants learned about financial management principles, including budgeting, financial reporting, and the importance of transparency in financial dealings within the organization.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Day 2: Practical Application and Vision Setting<\/b><\/p>\n

    The second day was dedicated to applying the knowledge gained and setting a vision for the future:<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Project Event:<\/b> Activists participated in a simulated project event, where they planned and executed a mock event, reinforcing their understanding of project management and teamwork.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Presentation Session:<\/b> Participants presented their project plans, honing their public speaking and presentation skills. This session was an excellent opportunity for activists to practice articulating their ideas clearly and confidently.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Games:<\/b> Interactive games were included to foster teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking. These activities also helped strengthen the bonds between team members.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Goal Setting:<\/b> A critical session focused on setting personal and organizational goals. Participants were guided through creating actionable plans to achieve their objectives within BNEC and beyond.<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Path to Inauguration:<\/b> The day concluded with a discussion on the path to inauguration, outlining the steps and expectations for the new Board of Management. This session provided a roadmap for the activists, clarifying their roles and responsibilities as they transition into leadership positions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
