Besides being a hobby, did you know that it can help you to improve your English skills? Watching movies is more fun than studying through textbooks because we can immediately know the context of a word and how it is pronounced. We can also explore various accents and cultures in a movie that we\u2019re watching. That&#8217;s why watching movies can improve your English. So, here are five recommended films that you can watch to improve your English.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Toy Story.<\/strong> It is an animated film aimed for children, which means this film has a simple vocabulary that is easy to understand and suitable for beginners who are just learning English. Although it is intended for children, it is still a great movie to be watched by adults.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Harry Potter.<\/strong> It is a fantasy genre film, with the first two films made for young audiences. So, the dialogue in the film is easy to understand and enjoyable. Just be aware because there is a lot of magic vocabulary!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Love Actually.<\/strong> It is a Christmas film in the romantic comedy genre. The film has eight different stories set in London and has many characters. By providing many characters, it&#8217;s a great way to help you learn English accents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The King&#8217;s Speech.<\/strong> It tells the story of King George, who has a speech disorder, which is stuttering. It is a problem when someone speaks with repeated sounds or words. In the film, King George meets a speech therapist, so the whole film focuses on how to speak English correctly. This film is also good for those who want to improve British pronunciation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Men in Black.<\/strong> It is a science fiction comedy film played by Will Smith. This film is easy to understand, because Will Smith uses clear language but still cool and hip.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Those are the five recommended films to improve your English. There are also a lot of other good films that you can search the internet to watch. Do you find your favorite film above?
