On June 11, 1992, deriving from a passion to further master the English language and the awareness how critical the language is for everyone to learn and master (especially for BINUS students), BNEC is established. To improve its members English skills, BNEC provides several classes, which are TOEFL, Debate, Public Speaking & Performance, and Conversation class. Growing further as a student club, BNEC had achieved the title of Best Student Organization in BINUS for nine times and also gained many achievements including international acknowledgement. Besides holding the title from Guinness World Records for “most people doing crossword simultaneously“, BNEC had also been known from  our annual international English Competition, the Asian English Olympics, that involve more than 600 students from countries all across Asia.
