The 32nd BNEC Farewell Party: A Crescendo ‘Til The End
The 32nd BNEC Farewell Party was held as an annual closing celebratory event to mark the end of a presidency period within BINUS English Club (BNEC). This event serves as a moment of appreciation, reflection, and transition, bringing together BNEC’s Board of Management members to celebrate a year of growth, achievements, and shared experiences while officially welcoming the next chapter of leadership within the organization.
Carrying the theme A Crescendo ‘Til The End, this year’s farewell drew inspiration from the musical concept of a crescendo, a gradual build toward a powerful and meaningful finale. The theme reflects the journey of the 32nd presidency, highlighting how every contribution, challenge, and milestone accumulated into a memorable closing chapter while setting the stage for future leaders to continue the rhythm and legacy of BNEC.
The event was held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 15:00 to 20:00 WIB at the GiiA Maluku Hotel Ballroom Jakarta. The celebration began with an opening session by the Master of Ceremony, followed by speeches from the Project Officer and the Presidents of BNEC. Participants then took part in interactive games that encouraged connection and fun.
One of the main highlights of the evening was the Symbolization Session, representing the most formal and meaningful transition of leadership. The session began with the signing of the official handover document by the outgoing General President, witnessed by appointed representatives. This was followed by the ceremonial sash placement, where previous Presidents of BNEC placed the President of BNEC sash onto the newly appointed President. A vow was then read, beginning with the previous presidents and followed by the newly appointed president. This symbolized the official transfer of responsibility, trust, and leadership, reflecting continuity within the organization while honoring past legacies and welcoming a new vision for the future.
The event also featured the Superlative Awards session, which recognized members who contributed uniquely and significantly throughout the presidency year. Awards such as Night Owl BoM, Cheerful BoM, Comedy Genius BoM, Fashionista BoM, Chatty BoM, Caring BoM, Reliable BoM, and All-Rounder BoM were presented to outstanding individuals from each region as a form of appreciation for their dedication and character within the organization.
Additional meaningful segments included Reflections and Resonance, where participants revisited memorable moments and shared collective experiences, as well as a recap video highlighting the journey and achievements of the presidency year. A special performance from the 32nd Steering Committee of BNEC added a celebratory touch to the evening. The event concluded with a dinner session alongside a photobooth corner where participants could capture memorable moments together.
