BINUS Delegates in The 2024 National English Olympics

The National English Olympics (NEO) returned this year as an exciting showcase of English talent and proficiency among students nationwide. Hosted annually by BNEC Alam Sutera, NEO has become a highly anticipated event in the academic calendar. This year, it was held on January 6, 8, and 9, 2025, bringing together participants from diverse backgrounds to compete in speech, storytelling, and debate competitions.

Representing BINUS University, 10 dedicated delegates took part in The 2024 NEO after an intense selection process during The 2024 BNEC Internal Competition held on October 25–27, 2024. Among them, three participants competed in the speech category, another three in storytelling, and two teams of two members each represented BINUS in the debate competition. The internal competition served as a rigorous platform to identify and prepare the university’s best talents for the national stage. The competition days were filled with high energy and enthusiasm as participants delivered compelling performances in front of experienced judges and a captivated audience. Each round tested not only their English skills but also their creativity, critical thinking, and confidence under pressure.

Amidst the stiff competition, BINUS delegates rose to the occasion and achieved remarkable success. In the speech category, one of the participants secured an impressive 2nd place, captivating the judges with their eloquence and impactful delivery. In the debate category, BINUS achieved double accolades by achieving the 1st Runner-Up position and earning the prestigious title of 1st Best Speaker. These outstanding achievements are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and resilience of the BINUS delegation. It also highlights the comprehensive training and support provided by BNEC and coaches, which continue to empower the members to excel in various academic and extracurricular endeavors.
