BINUS Debate Team Secures 3rd Place at Pekan Raya Bea dan Cukai 2024

The BINUS University Debate Team proudly participated in the English Debate Competition (CEFU), part of the Pekan Raya Bea dan Cukai 2024, organized by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC). Representing BINUS were top leaderboard debaters Regina Stephanie Wuisana, Rachel Chen, and Jennifer Marcellyn Cen.

In the preliminary rounds, the team demonstrated their debating prowess by securing the 4th break as a team. Their outstanding performance continued in the quarterfinals, where they triumphed over Universitas Indonesia in a highly competitive match.

Advancing to the semifinals, the BINUS team put forth an exceptional effort, ultimately earning the position of 3rd place in the competition. Their strategic arguments and cohesive teamwork were pivotal throughout the rounds.
