BOM GATHERING BINUS ENGLISH CLUB : A TIME IN SPACE

The BoM Gathering is one of the annual work programs of BNEC’s Human Resources Development. It’s a gathering between all members of the Board of Management in BNEC to carry out fun activities. The general purpose of this BoM gathering is to strengthen the bond between BoM members, so that they can get to know each other better and interact more intimately. Other than that, they can also gain more insight about the boundless expanse, which is outer space.  This year, the BoM gathering was held virtually using the Zoom Meeting to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

On June 25th 2021, 58 Members of BINUS English Club’s Board of Management from all regions had excitedly participated in the gathering. At first, the event began with an opening by the MC to welcome the participants. After that, to build up a fun atmosphere, there was an ice breaking in the form of playing quizzes through Kahoot. The questions in the quiz were about BNEC, BoM, and questions about outer space according to the theme raised that could test the participants knowledge about the topic. The quicker they answer, the more points they acquire. Next game is “Guess the Flying Object”. Here, participants would be divided into several groups to draw and guess certain words that had been prepared by the committee. Laughter was shared in the team as they saw the drawings of others and tried to guess the correct answer. In the impression session, participants were asked to write down their impressions or message about the gathering using a Mentimeter. Participants could relive the fun things that they experienced as well as read what others felt during the event. Just like every journey, this one also must come to an end. After writing their testimonials, the MC closed the event and invited participants to fill out the satisfaction form.

Even though this year’s gathering is already finished, be prepared for the next one as more fun and memorable activities will be held for BNEC’s member!
