The sad passing of Boby Andika

Dear Debaters, with a very heave heart we would like to inform you, on the 9th of July, 2021, at 11:30pm, marks the passing of Boby Andika. Boby is the godfather of debating in Indonesia, the communities and culture of debating in Indonesia would’ve simply not exist without Boby. BIPEDS would like to pay respects and send prayers towards his family. We would also like to heed his words of wisdom, and celebrate his accomplishments, rather than mourn for his death.

“Death is always associated with sadness and grief. I want mine to be the exact opposite of that. I want them to commemorate all the good stuff. I don’t want to be the reason people cry– I’ve done that enough when I’m alive. I always want people to laugh, even in my death. :)”
