Apple Developer Academy Company Visit<\/b><\/p>\n

#IgnitingChange\u00a0 – Design Thinking for Impactful Solutions with Apple Technology<\/b><\/p>\n

AIESEC in BINUS University and Apple Developer Academy @ BINUS joined forces on June 8th, 2024 to ignite a passion for social change in university students through technology. The collaborative event, titled “Igniting Change: Design Thinking for Impactful Solutions with Apple Technology,” offered students an insightful look into the world of app development and its potential to address real-world challenges. The event was held in the office of Apple Academy itself situated in Green Office Park, BSD. Making it a collaboration that benefits university students from a company visit.<\/span><\/p>\n

The company visit was attended by students who are interested in applying for the Apple Developer Academy program that will run for 9 months in the coming year. Participants from Bina Nusantara University, Prasetiya Mulya University, President University, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, and Institut Pertanian Bogor were attracted to the company visit activities which were directly invited to learn and improve their creativity skills using the latest methods and tools owned by Apple.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event’s theme, “Crafting Applications that Make a Difference,” resonated with attendees as they explored the power of Apple technology to create positive change. Through a series of interactive workshops and presentations, students delved into the fundamentals of user-centered design, including UI\/UX design principles, customer relationship management (CRM), and customer empathy analysis. These valuable sessions equipped them with the tools to understand user needs, design intuitive interfaces, and ultimately build applications that deliver a positive user experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond technical expertise, the event fostered a “customer-centric” mindset. Interactive exercises encouraged students to develop empathy for their target audience and identify challenges they could address. This focus on user needs aligns perfectly with the design thinking methodology, which was also introduced during the event. Students learned how to leverage this creative problem-solving approach to develop innovative solutions with a social impact.<\/span><\/p>\n

AIESEC in BINUS and Apple Developer Academy understand the power of collaboration. The event highlighted how students from diverse backgrounds, such as design, programming, and management, can work together to create powerful and impactful applications. This interdisciplinary approach was shown in the Challenge-Based Learning session, where students fostered a spirit of teamwork and innovation, crucial for success in today’s dynamic tech landscape.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event not only empowered students with valuable knowledge but also served as a platform to introduce the Apple Developer Academy program.\u00a0 Representatives showcased the Academy’s comprehensive curriculum, equipping students with the necessary skills to transform their app ideas into reality. With applications for Cohort 8 now open, the event provided a valuable introduction for students interested in pursuing a career in app development within the Apple ecosystem.<\/span><\/p>\n

This collaborative event by AIESEC in BINUS and Apple Developer Academy serves as a testament to the transformative power of education and technology. By equipping students with the knowledge and tools to create impactful applications, the event empowers them to become agents of change and contribute to a better future.<\/span><\/p>\n

AIESEC di BINUS University dan Apple Developer Academy @ BINUS bekerja sama pada tanggal 8 Juni 2024 untuk membakar semangat perubahan sosial pada mahasiswa melalui teknologi. Acara kolaborasi yang berujudul “Igniting Change: Design Thinking for Impactful Solutions with Apple Technology,” memberikan mahasiswa pandangan yang mendalam tentang dunia pengembangan aplikasi dan potensinya untuk mengatasi tantangan di dunia nyata. Acara ini diadakan di kantor Apple Academy sendiri yang terletak di Green Office Park, BSD. Menjadikannya sebuah kolaborasi yang bermanfaat bagi para mahasiswa dalam bentuk kunjungan perusahaan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kunjungan perusahaan ini diikuti oleh mahasiswa yang tertarik untuk mendaftar ke program Apple Developer Academy yang akan berlangsung selama 9 bulan di tahun mendatang. Peserta dari Universitas Bina Nusantara, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, President University, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, dan Institut Pertanian Bogor tertarik untuk mengikuti kegiatan company visit yang secara langsung diajak untuk belajar dan meningkatkan kemampuan kreativitas mereka dengan menggunakan metode dan alat-alat terbaru yang dimiliki oleh Apple.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tema acara tersebut, “Crafting Applications that Make a Difference,” beresonansi dengan para peserta yang hadir saat mereka mengeksplorasi kekuatan teknologi Apple untuk menciptakan perubahan yang positif. Melalui serangkaian lokakarya dan presentasi interaktif, para mahasiswa mempelajari dasar-dasar desain yang berpusat pada pengguna, termasuk prinsip-prinsip desain UI\/UX, manajemen hubungan pelanggan (CRM), dan analisis empati pelanggan. Sesi yang berharga ini membekali mereka dengan alat untuk memahami kebutuhan pengguna, mendesain antarmuka yang intuitif, dan pada akhirnya membangun aplikasi yang memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang positif.<\/span><\/p>\n

Selain keahlian teknis, acara ini juga menumbuhkan pola pikir “customer-centric”. Latihan interaktif mendorong para siswa untuk mengembangkan empati terhadap target audiens mereka dan mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dapat mereka atasi. Fokus pada kebutuhan pengguna ini selaras dengan metodologi pemikiran desain, yang juga diperkenalkan selama acara berlangsung. Para mahasiswa belajar bagaimana memanfaatkan pendekatan pemecahan masalah yang kreatif ini untuk mengembangkan solusi inovatif dengan dampak sosial.<\/span><\/p>\n

AIESEC di BINUS dan Apple Developer Academy memahami kekuatan kolaborasi. Acara ini menyoroti bagaimana mahasiswa dari berbagai latar belakang, seperti desain, pemrograman, dan manajemen, dapat bekerja sama untuk menciptakan aplikasi yang kuat dan berdampak. Pendekatan interdisipliner ini ditunjukkan dalam sesi <\/span>Challenge-Based Learning<\/span><\/i>, di mana para mahasiswa memupuk semangat kerja sama tim dan inovasi, yang sangat penting untuk sukses dalam lanskap teknologi yang dinamis saat ini.<\/span><\/p>\n

Acara ini tidak hanya memberdayakan para mahasiswa dengan pengetahuan yang berharga, tetapi juga menjadi platform untuk memperkenalkan program Apple Developer Academy.\u00a0 Para perwakilan memamerkan kurikulum komprehensif Akademi, membekali para mahasiswa dengan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk mengubah ide aplikasi mereka menjadi kenyataan. Dengan pendaftaran untuk Cohort 8 yang sudah dibuka, acara ini memberikan pengenalan yang berharga bagi para mahasiswa yang tertarik untuk mengejar karir dalam pengembangan aplikasi dalam ekosistem Apple.<\/span><\/p>\n

Acara kolaborasi antara AIESEC BINUS dan Apple Developer Academy ini merupakan bukti dari kekuatan transformatif dari pendidikan dan teknologi. Dengan membekali para mahasiswa dengan pengetahuan dan alat untuk menciptakan aplikasi yang berdampak, acara ini memberdayakan mereka untuk menjadi agen perubahan dan berkontribusi untuk masa depan yang lebih baik.<\/span><\/p>\n
