Youth Without Borders tahun ini menjadikan SDG 4: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Quality Education<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> sebagai fokus utama kami. Dengan topik terkait SDG 4, kami secara khusus fokus pada dampak kesenjangan keterampilan antara manusia dan Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) serta cara mengoptimalkan alat kerja AI guna meningkatkan produktivitas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ketika dunia semakin bergantung pada teknologi AI, maka penting untuk mengatasi dampak dan tantangan penerapan Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) dalam pendidikan dan memastikan bahwa generasi muda dibekali dengan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk berkembang di masa depan yang dikuasai oleh AI. Pada Youth Without Borders tahun ini, kami fokus pada topik \u201cEmpowering Education: The Role of AI in Enhancing Learning\u201d. Dengan mengundang pembicara internasional untuk berbagi keahlian mereka, kami bertujuan untuk memberdayakan generasi muda dalam memanfaatkan teknologi AI untuk pengembangan pribadi dan profesional mereka, serta mempromosikan akses yang setara terhadap peluang dan pendidikan yang berkualitas. Kami memiliki #AIgnitingKnowledge sebagai kampanye hashtag kami. Dengan menekankan kata &#8220;ignite&#8221;, kami bertujuan untuk menginspirasi dan memberdayakan generasi muda untuk mengeksplorasi potensi AI guna meningkatkan pembelajaran dan produktivitas. Youth Without Borders: \u201cEmpowering Education: The Role of AI in Enhancing Learning\u201d dilaksanakan pada Minggu, 19 Mei 2024 melalui Zoom Meeting. Acara ini dihadiri lebih dari 140+ peserta dari Universitas Bina Nusantara dan juga dari Universitas lain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dalam sesi pertama acara Youth Without Borders, Akhmad Sofwan, seorang dosen di bidang Manajemen Rekod dan Arsip di Universitas Indonesia serta seorang software developer, membahas topik &#8220;Exploring the Impact of AI on Education: Understanding AI and its Implementation in Learning.&#8221; Melalui presentasinya, peserta diajak untuk memahami peran serta pengaruh teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam dunia pendidikan. Akhmad Sofwan, dengan latar belakangnya sebagai dosen dan software developer, secara mendalam membahas konsep dasar AI dan bagaimana teknologi ini diimplementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran. Peserta diberikan wawasan tentang potensi AI dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pembelajaran, memperluas aksesibilitas, serta merangsang perkembangan keterampilan manusia dalam konteks pendidikan. Selain itu, sesi beliau juga mengupas tantangan dan peluang yang terkait dengan integrasi AI dalam lingkungan pendidikan, serta menyoroti aspek etis yang perlu diperhatikan dalam penerapan teknologi ini. Dengan demikian, peserta diberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang bagaimana AI dapat memengaruhi masa depan pendidikan dan bagaimana penerapannya dapat dioptimalkan untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih baik.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Selanjutnya, dalam sesi kedua acara Youth Without Borders, Siddhant Agarwal, seorang Data Software Engineer dan Marketing Consultant yang juga memiliki pengalaman di AIESEC in Germany, membawakan topik yang menarik: &#8220;Unlocking Potential: AI Tools for Learning.&#8221; Dengan latar belakangnya yang luas dalam bidang teknologi, Siddhant Agarwal membahas berbagai alat kecerdasan buatan (AI) yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk membantu meningkatkan potensi siswa secara maksimal. Melalui presentasinya, beliau memperkenalkan berbagai alat AI seperti tutor virtual, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">chatbots<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, platform pembelajaran adaptif,\u00a0 dan lain-lain. Dalam sesi ini, peserta diajak untuk memahami bagaimana alat-alat AI ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pembelajaran, meningkatkan produktivitas, dan memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang dipersonalisasi. Selain itu, Siddhant Agarwal juga membahas manfaat serta tantangan yang terkait dengan integrasi alat AI dalam pendidikan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kami memulai sesi studi kasus setelah kedua pembicara menyelesaikan sesi mereka. Kami memberikan studi kasus terkait penerapan AI di bidang pendidikan kepada seluruh peserta, dan mereka memiliki waktu 10 menit untuk mengirimkan jawabannya pada platform Padlet yang telah diberikan. Setelah itu, dengan dibantu oleh Siddhant Agarwal, pembicara kedua kami, kami memulai sesi presentasi dan feedback mengenai jawaban studi kasus para peserta. Sesi ini dilanjutkan dengan sesi \u201cReward dan Recognition\u201d yang akan diberikan kepada 3 peserta dengan pertanyaan terbaik pada sesi pembicara 1, pertanyaan terbaik pada sesi pembicara 2, dan jawaban terbaik pada studi kasus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Youth Without Borders: \u201cEmpowering Education: The Role of AI in Enhancing Learning\u201d kemudian ditutup dengan sesi dokumentasi bersama seluruh panitia, MC, pembicara, dan peserta. Selanjutnya, kami mengumumkan acara AIESEC berikutnya, yaitu SDG Level Up dengan topik \u201cCurious Minds: Investing in Practical Learning\u2019s Long-Term Effects\u201d dan juga Youth Career Growth dengan topik \u201cNavigating Your Career Path: Exploring the Entrepreneurial Journey and Corporate Landscape for Success&#8221;. Selanjutnya MC menghimbau seluruh peserta untuk mengisi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">exit form<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> dan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">satisfaction survey <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">yang tersedia di layar mereka masing-masing dalam bentuk QR code atau melalui link di kolom chat Zoom Meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pada akhirnya, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Youth Without Borders: \u201cEmpowering Education: The Role of AI in Enhancing Learning\u201d berhasil dilaksanakan. Mulai dari perencanaan dan penyusunan hingga hari pelaksanaannya, semuanya berjalan dengan baik tanpa ada kendala yang berarti. Seluruh peserta juga aktif dan kooperatif selama acara kami, hal ini terlihat dari banyaknya pertanyaan yang mereka ajukan pada sesi tanya jawab dengan para pembicara dan juga melalui jawaban studi kasus mereka. Lebih dari itu, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">feedback form<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> dari acara kami menunjukkan bahwa seluruh peserta merasa antusias dan puas dengan acara ini. Kami yakin kesuksesan acara ini akan memberikan peluang bagi AIESEC in BINUS untuk menyelenggarakan acara yang lebih sukses lagi di masa mendatang.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">ENGLISH VERSION<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Youth Without Borders is a platform presented by AIESEC in BINUS that aims to create a space for young people to gain insights and experiences related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how we can implement them in our communities by inviting speakers outside of Indonesia and sharing their knowledge and insights regarding the selected topic. This year\u2019s Youth Without Borders has SDG 4: Quality Education as our main focus. With the topic related to SDG 4, we specifically focus on the impact of the skill gap between humans and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how to optimize AI working tools in order to enhance productivity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As the world becomes increasingly reliant on AI technologies, it is crucial to address the impacts and challenges of Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementation in education and ensure that youth are equipped with the necessary skills to thrive in an AI-driven future. In this year\u2019s Youth Without Borders, we\u2019re focusing on the topic of \u201cEmpowering Education: The Role of AI in Enhancing Learning\u201d. By inviting international speakers to share their expertise, we aim to empower young individuals to leverage AI technologies for their personal and professional development, promoting equal access to quality education and opportunities. We have #AIgnitingKnowledge as our hashtag campaign. By emphasizing the word &#8220;ignite,&#8221; we aim to inspire and empower young people to explore AI&#8217;s potential to enhance learning and productivity. Youth Without Borders: \u201cEmpowering Education: The Role of AI in Enhancing Learning\u201d was held on Sunday, May 19, 2024, via Zoom Meeting. This event was attended by more than 140+ participants from Bina Nusantara University and also from other Universities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the first session of the Youth Without Borders event, Akhmad Sofwan, a lecturer in Records and Archives Management at the University of Indonesia and a software developer, discussed the topic &#8220;Exploring the Impact of AI on Education: Understanding AI and its Implementation in Learning.&#8221; Through his presentation, participants were invited to understand the role and influence of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the field of education. Drawing from his background as a lecturer and software developer, Akhmad Sofwan delved into the fundamental concepts of AI and how this technology is implemented in the learning process. Participants were provided insights into the potential of AI in enhancing learning efficiency, expanding accessibility, and fostering the development of human skills in an educational context. Furthermore, his session also addressed the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating AI into educational environments, while highlighting the ethical aspects that need to be considered in the application of this technology. As a result, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of how AI can shape the future of education and how its implementation can be optimized to achieve better outcomes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For the second session of the Youth Without Borders event, Siddhant Agarwal, a Data Software Engineer and Marketing Consultant with experience in AIESEC in Germany, presented an intriguing topic: &#8220;Unlocking Potential: AI Tools for Learning.&#8221; With his extensive background in technology, Siddhant Agarwal discussed various artificial intelligence (AI) tools that can be utilized in learning to maximize student potential. Through his presentation, he introduced various AI tools, such as virtual tutors, chatbots, adaptive learning platforms, and others. In this session, participants were invited to understand how these AI tools can enhance learning efficiency, increase productivity, and provide personalized learning experiences. Furthermore, he also discussed the benefits and challenges associated with integrating AI tools in education.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We began the study case session after both of the speakers finished with their sessions. We gave all participants a study case related to AI implementations in education, and they had 10 minutes to submit their answers on the given Padlet platform. After that, with the assistance of Siddhant Agarwal, our second speaker, we began the presentation and feedback session regarding the participants&#8217; answers. Following this session, there was a Reward and Recognition session, which will be given to 3 participants with the best question during speaker 1 session, the best question during speaker 2 session, and the best answer to the study case.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Youth Without Borders: \u201cEmpowering Education: The Role of AI in Enhancing Learning\u201d was then closed with a documentation session with all of the committees, MC, speakers, and participants. Afterwards, we announce the next AIESEC event, which is SDG Level Up with the topic &#8220;Curious Minds: Investing in Practical Learning&#8217;s Long-Term Effects&#8221; and also Youth Career Growth with the topic &#8220;Navigating Your Career Path: Exploring the Entrepreneurial Journey and Corporate Landscape for Success&#8221;. Further on, the MC encourages all participants to fill out the exit form and satisfaction survey available on their screen (QR code) or through the link in the Zoom Meeting chat box.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On a final note, Youth Without Borders: \u201cEmpowering Education: The Role of AI in Enhancing Learning\u201d was successfully executed. From the planning and organizing until the day of the event, everything went well without any setbacks. All of the participants were also active and cooperative during our event, this can be seen by how they asked a lot of questions during the Q&amp;A sessions with the speakers and also by their study case answers. More than that, the feedback form shows that all of the participants were excited and satisfied with the event.
