Youth Today x Join AIESEC merupakan suatu acara yang diselenggarakan oleh AIESEC in Indonesia dengan tujuan yaitu untuk membantu para pendaftar Join AIESEC dalam mengembangkan jiwa kepemimpinan mereka sesuai dengan bakat yang mereka miliki. Seiring berjalannya waktu, persaingan dalam dunia kerja tentunya menjadi semakin lebih ketat. Para pemuda harus memiliki keterampilan dalam diri mereka yang dapat membedakan mereka dari pemuda lainnya dan menjadikan diri mereka unik. Keterampilan tersebut dapat berwujud dalam berbagai bentuk, bisa dalam hal kreativitas, kewirausahaan, ataupun kepemimpinan. Pada Youth Today kali ini, kami ingin menekankan kepada para pemuda, tentang betapa pentingnya bagi mereka untuk memiliki keterampilan dalam memimpin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Youth Today x Join AIESEC tahun ini bertemakan \u201c<\/span>Developing Leadership Among Youth<\/span><\/i>\u201d dengan topik \u201c<\/span>Connecting Youth Impact: Developing Awareness and Strengthening Leadership<\/span><\/i>\u201d. Di era globalisasi dan pasca pandemi seperti ini, para pemuda harus sadar tentang betapa pentingnya bagi mereka untuk memiliki jiwa kewirausahaan dan kepemimpinan yang tinggi karena kontribusi mereka dalam keberlangsungan ekonomi negara ini sangatlah besar. Maka dari itu, untuk membangun kapasitas dan kesiapan para pemuda dalam berbisnis dan memimpin di masa depan, pada Youth Today x Join AIESEC kali ini kami akan berkolaborasi dengan AIESEC Business School x ILO yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada kalangan muda terkait kepemimpinan (<\/span>leadership<\/span><\/i>) dan kewirausahaan (<\/span>entrepreneurship<\/span><\/i>).<\/span><\/p>\n

Youth Today x Join AIESEC akan menjadi suatu wadah bagi para kalangan muda untuk memperdalam jiwa kepemimpinan dan melatih bakat kewirausahaan dalam diri mereka melalui diskusi secara terbuka. Dalam acara ini, peserta diharapkan dapat berinteraksi dengan satu sama lain sehingga mereka dapat membentuk koneksi dan mengenal satu sama lain melalui pendekatan yang kami sediakan selama acara ini berlangsung. Selain itu, selesai dari acara ini kami juga mengharapkan dari para peserta untuk bisa mengenali diri mereka sendiri lebih jauh agar mereka tahu bagian mana dari diri mereka yang perlu mereka kembangkan agar mereka bisa menjadi seorang pemimpin yang mampu berpikir secara kritis.<\/span><\/p>\n

Acara Youth Today x Join AIESEC pada kali ini dimulai dengan pembukaan dari <\/span>Master of Ceremony (MC)<\/span><\/i> yaitu Ara dan Rei yang memberikan panggung kepada Kyara Amantha Nurfirman selaku <\/span>Person in Charge (PIC) <\/span><\/i>dan Andrea Mahardika Andi Waluya selaku <\/span>Organizing Committee President (OCP)<\/span><\/i> untuk memberikan kata sambutan. Setelah itu,\u00a0 dilanjut dengan sesi pertama yang dibawakan oleh pembicara 1 yaitu Evriel Amanda selaku <\/span>Local Committee President (LCP) <\/span><\/i>AIESEC in BINUS 23.24 dengan materinya yang bertemakan \u201cStory of Us\u201d. Sesi ini diakhiri dengan penyerahan sertifikat dan sesi dokumentasi setelah sesi tanya jawab yang ditanyakan oleh peserta melalui Slido dan ZOOM Meeting seputar materi yang dibawakan oleh Evriel Amanda telah selesai.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sesi selanjutnya dibawakan oleh pembicara kedua, yaitu Vania Natalie selaku <\/span>Local Committee Vice President of Talent Management (LCVP of TM)<\/span><\/i> AIESEC in BINUS 22.23 dengan <\/span>materinya yang bertemakan \u201c<\/span>Embrace the Authenticity<\/span><\/i>\u201d. Materi yang dibawakan oleh Vania Natalie menceritakan seputar pengalamannya selama berada di AIESEC dan bagaimana AIESEC dapat membantu Kak Vania menjadi versi terbaik dari dirinya. Pada sesi ini, pembicara ditemani dengan Moderator yaitu Rabi Virgi Arafat selaku Alumni AIESEC in BINUS sehingga sesi ini berlangsung seperti sesi talkshow pada umumnya. Sama seperti sesi sebelumnya, sesi ini juga ditutup dengan tanya jawab melalui Slido dan ZOOM Meeting serta penyerahan sertifikat dan dokumentasi.<\/span><\/p>\n

Setelah itu, sesi ketiga dibawakan oleh Astrid Josephine Lainsamputty selaku <\/span>Local Committee Vice President of Talent Management (LCVP of TM)<\/span><\/i> AIESEC in BINUS 23.24 dengan materinya yang bertemakan \u201c<\/span>Lead with Us<\/span><\/i>\u201d. Materi yang dibawakan oleh Astrid Josephine Lainsamputty membahas seputar masing-masing departemen yang dimiliki AIESEC, cara AIESEC bekerja,\u00a0 dan penjelasan terkait proses seleksi Join AIESEC. Sesi ini ditutup dengan tanya jawab melalui Slido dan ZOOM Meeting serta penyerahan sertifikat dan dokumentasi.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sesi terakhir dari acara ini adalah sesi AIESEC Business School x International Labour Organization, dimana semua peserta dibagi ke dalam <\/span>break out room<\/span><\/i> dan ditemani oleh satu <\/span>assessor <\/span><\/i>yang akan menuntun mereka selama sesi ini sedang berlangsung. Di dalam <\/span>break out room <\/span><\/i>tersebut, peserta diberikan kesempatan untuk mempresentasikan <\/span>vision board<\/span><\/i> yang sudah mereka buat sebelumnya dan mendiskusikan hasil dari padlet yang telah mereka isi terkait keterampilan (<\/span>skill<\/span><\/i>) yang sudah mereka miliki dan mereka butuhkan untuk masa depan mereka. Sebelum peserta kembali ke <\/span>main room<\/span><\/i>, mereka juga diberikan waktu untuk mengisi <\/span>Professional Development Plan (PDP)<\/span><\/i> dengan batas waktu yang telah diberikan sebagai kualifikasi untuk mereka lolos ke tahap selanjutnya dalam proses seleksi Join AIESEC. Ketika semua peserta telah kembali ke main room, kedua MC langsung mengumumkan <\/span>Rewards and Recognitions (RNR)<\/span><\/i> untuk peserta paling aktif dan peserta dengan <\/span>vision board<\/span><\/i> terunik. Peserta yang memenangkan RNR mendapatkan <\/span>e-voucher <\/span><\/i>dari CAKAP, yaitu <\/span>main partner <\/span><\/i>kami.<\/span><\/p>\n

Youth Today x Join AIESEC tahun ini ditutup dengan sesi dokumentasi, pengisian <\/span>exit ticket<\/span><\/i>, dan <\/span>feedback form<\/span><\/i> ABS x ILO. Untuk menyimpulkan keseluruhan hasil dari acara ini, Youth Today x Join AIESEC telah terjalankan dengan maksimal meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala selama masa persiapan<\/span> event<\/span><\/i> sedang berlangsung. Akan tetapi, dalam <\/span>exit ticket, feedback form<\/span><\/i>, dan selama sesi tanya jawab sedang berlangsung dapat kami lihat tingginya tingkat antusiasme dari para peserta selama mengikuti acara ini. Kami harap, acara Youth Today selanjutnya juga dapat berjalan secara maksimal dan dapat mengundang lebih banyak partisipan dalam acara AIESEC in BINUS yang akan datang.<\/span><\/p>\n

ENGLISH VERSION<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Youth Today x Join AIESEC is an event organized by AIESEC in Indonesia with the aim of helping Join AIESEC applicants to develop their leadership skills according to their talents. As time goes by, competition in the world of work is certainly getting tougher. Young people must have skills within themselves that can differentiate them from other young people and make them unique. These skills can take many forms, it could be creativity, entrepreneurship, or leadership. On this Youth Today, we would like to emphasize to the youth how important it is for them to have leadership skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year’s Youth Today x Join AIESEC theme is “Developing Leadership Among Youth” with the topic “Connecting Youth Impact: Developing Awareness and Strengthening Leadership”. In this era of globalization and post-pandemic, the youth must be aware of how important it is for them to have a high entrepreneurial and leadership spirit because their contribution to the country’s economic sustainability is enormous. Therefore, to build the capacity and readiness of young people in doing business and leading in the future, at this Youth Today x Join AIESEC we will collaborate with AIESEC Business School x ILO which aims to provide young people with an understanding of leadership and entrepreneurship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Youth Today x Join AIESEC will be a platform for young people to deepen their leadership skills and train their entrepreneurial talents through open discussions. In this event, participants are expected to interact with each other so that they can form connections and get to know each other through the approach we provide during this event. In addition, after this event, we also expect the participants to be able to recognize themselves further so that they know which part of themselves they need to develop in order to become a leader who is able to think critically.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this Youth Today x Join AIESEC, the event began with an opening from the Master of Ceremony (MC), Ara and Rei, who gave the stage to Kyara Amantha Nurfirman as the Person in Charge (PIC) and Andrea Mahardika Andi Waluya as the Organizing Committee President (OCP) to give opening remarks. After that, it was continued with the first session presented by speaker 1, Evriel Amanda as the Local Committee President (LCP) AIESEC in BINUS 23.24 with her material themed “Story of Us”. This session ended with the submission of certificates and documentation sessions after the question and answer session asked by participants through Slido and ZOOM Meeting about the material presented by Evriel Amanda had been completed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next session was presented by the second speaker, Vania Natalie as the Local Committee Vice President of Talent Management (LCVP of TM) AIESEC in BINUS 22.23 with her material entitled “Embrace the Authenticity”. The material presented by Vania Natalie tells about her experience while in AIESEC and how AIESEC had helped her in becoming the best version of herself. In this session, the speaker was accompanied by a Moderator, Rabi Virgi Arafat as Alumni of AIESEC in BINUS, so this session was conducted like a talk show. Just like the previous session, this session was also closed with questions and answers through Slido and ZOOM Meeting as well as handing over certificates and documentation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After that, the third session was presented by Astrid Josephine Lainsamputty as the Local Committee Vice President of Talent Management (LCVP of TM) AIESEC in BINUS 23.24 with the theme “Lead with Us”. The material presented by Astrid Josephine Lainsamputty explained about each department owned by AIESEC, how AIESEC works, and an explanation about Join AIESEC selection process. The session was closed with questions and answers through Slido and ZOOM Meeting as well as the handover of certificates and documentation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The last session of the event was the AIESEC Business School x ILO session, where all participants were divided into break out rooms and accompanied by one assessor who would guide them during the whole session. In the break out room, participants were given the opportunity to present the vision board that they had previously created and discuss the results of the padlet that they had filled out regarding the skills they already had and needed for their future. Before the participants returned to the main room, they were also given time to fill out a Professional Development Plan (PDP) with a deadline that has been given as a qualification for them to qualify for the next phase of the Join AIESEC selection process. When all participants had returned to the main room, the two MCs immediately announced the Rewards and Recognitions (RNR) for the most active participants and participants with the most unique vision boards. Participants who won the RNR received e-vouchers from CAKAP, our main partner.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year’s Youth Today x Join AIESEC was closed with a documentation session, exit ticket filling, and ABS x ILO feedback form. To summarize the overall results of this event, Youth Today x Join AIESEC has been carried out optimally even though there were several obstacles during the preparation period of the event. However, in the exit ticket, feedback form, and during the Q&A session, we can see the high level of enthusiasm from the participants during this event. We hope that the next Youth Today event can also run optimally and can invite more participants in the upcoming AIESEC in BINUS event.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
